Out with Friends || Nicole, Daniel C.

Danny shut down the engine of his car, after turning off the radio. He turned around and looked at the two women. He knew that trait of Nicole's to never leave anyone behind and he knew that Lexi was lucky to have a friend like her. He himself was lucky to have her by his side.
"Well, ladies... we're here. We'll have to walk the rest of the way." he said to them.

Danny knew little about Lexi's past, but he wasn't one to pry and ask about it. He knew very well, from own experience, that there are things in life that weren't easy to talk about. If he needed to know something, he would be told.

Nicole looked over to Danny when he said that, then nodded before looking back to Nicole. "Ready to have fun?" she asked her friend while smiling a little as she asked Lexi that.

Of course she was ready to have some fun. She had been since she got ready for this night out. How could she not? Tim would be meeting them later tonight and she was excited about it, but a little nervous as well.
With a big smile on her face, she turned to Nicole and said: "Of course I am! Can hardly wait to get there."

And as soon as Danny opened the door for them, Lexi got out of the car, thankfully taking the helping hand the handsome man was offering. "Thank you very much." Lexi said, after she got out and stood aside, so Nicole could get out as well. And of course, Danny held his hand out to her, too. "Such a gentleman you got there, Nikki." Lexi said in an admiring tone.

Nicole flashed her trademark grin after Lexi said that as she got out of the car. "Thanks Lexi.....I've snagged an amazing bloke." she said in reply, giggling a little at the same time. It was clear that Nicole loved Danny.

Danny just smirked a little, listening to the ladies talk. If anyone paid close attention to him now, they would actually see a slight blush on his cheeks. Of course he was flattered by their opinion of being a good guy. That was all he wanted to be.
"C'mon, I'm not a saint." he said in a teasing tone, looking at Nicole and Lexi.

"Nah.." Lexi said. "You're still a good man, mate."

Nicole giggled a bit when Danny said that to them, then took his hand. "I agree with Lexi, you are a good bloke." she said in reply while holding Danny's hand as she said that. "Lets tee it up" Nicole said to Danny and Lexi.

"'Course you do." Danny said to Nicole, smirking a little. He then took her hand in his, interlocking their fingers as he did and led the two women down the street to the nice little club they were visiting tonight. He felt quite alive tonight, going out with Nicole and Lexi and meeting her guy later. Since he met Nicole that night at the bar, Danny took a liking to going out and having fun again.

Lexi was walking next to Nicole and Danny, smiling to herself as she watched the two of them. She liked to see them both together as it also showed a different side of Nicole, one she usually didn't show to just anyone. It was nice to see that Nicole had found a good guy here in the US.
"He's a good bloke... she better keep him." Lexi thought to herself.

"And you better don't think different, Danny." Lexi said in a light, teasing tone.

Nicole looked at Lexi when she said that, a slight grin on her face as her friend said that. Nicole stayed close to Danny as he lead them to the place in question. She could tell that Danny was happy to be with her.

"Heh." Danny gave a small smirk in reply to Lexi's comment, glancing at Nicole as he did.
How could he argue with the opinion of two beautiful women, one of which he really liked? That would be close to committing suicide on the spot. Nah, he was smarter than that. Modest, but smart. He'd never think of himself as extremely handsome or cute, but he would a lady have her own opinion on that.

"Wouldn't cross my mind." he then said.

"Good as gold" Nicole said in reply when Danny said that to them, her heals clicking on the pavement as they walked along. It was clear that she was glowing like a stop light, she couldn't help it as she was with the man that she cared about the most.

Knowing he'd take her by surprise, Danny leaned in and kissed her cheek as they walked down the street to the club. He noticed the glow on her face and to him, that was the most beautiful look on her. He knew that she was happy to be with him and if she was happy, then so was Danny.
He kept a small smile on his face, after pulling back.

Nicole felt a shiver go up her spine when Danny did that to her. She was clearly surprised when Danny did that, but she loved it. She felt her heart flutter, something that hadn't happened to her in awhile. "I love you Danny" she said to him after a few seconds.

Danny gave Nicole a loving smile, letting go of her hand and put his arm around her waist instead, pulling her just a little closer to her. He knew that feeling he had right now, he knew the feeling of butterflies in his stomach, the slight bit of nervousness when he was around her. He hadn't felt like that in a long time, but he knew exactly what it meant.
"Love you, too." he replied in a soft tone.

Lexi, walking next to them, smiled a little as she was watching them. At the same time, she imagined that Tim would do all those things to her, too. She admired what Nicole had, maybe there was a little bit of envy in her, too. She wanted a relationship like that, too, but sadly her life wasn't that simple. The man she wanted to have it with, didn't seem to know it, or he was just too shy himself.

"Awww, look at you two lovebirds." she said in a light tone. She was happy for Nicole and Danny.

Nicole giggled, then looked over to Lexi when she said that. "Thats us" she said to her in reply as they got closer to the place are going to. She knew that Lexi was still single and that she could use a guy in her life. "You need a bloke in your life Lexi." she said to her honestly.

Lexi looked at Nicole, sighing a little. Nicole was right, but the thing was that she had a man already, she wanted in her life, she just didn't know how to make him see that. And how to find out if he felt the same about her.
"Already got one... just need to make him see that... and know if he actually feels the same way about me." Lexi replied. "Not every love story is that simple."

Nicole listened to Lexi as she said that. "I have a feeling that you will get him to know that." she said to her in reply. Nicole was happy that she met a guy, now she just hoped that this guy would see what a great person Lexi was and form a relationship with her.

"If that guy doesn't fall for you... he's a fool." Danny commented honestly. Even though he didn't know Lexi very well, Danny knew that she was a good person, fun to be around.
It was just the way Lexi behaved around other people, like she did tonight. So full of life and happy. If that man in her life didn't act fast, someone else might snatch Lexi away. He knew that much.

Nicole nodded in agreement when Danny said that to Lexi. "I'm not going to disagree with that." she said to him as they got closer to the place in question.

Lexi looked at them and then giggled a little, but her cheeks blushed a bit, too. She was a modest woman who didn't think of herself as being something better than someone else. She knew her qualities and she was confident enough, but still a sweet girl, if she wanted to be. A sweet girl who could hold her ground, too, if need be.

"Thanks you two. Tell him that." she replied in a light tone, a smile on her face, as they reached the small night club they were headed to.

Nicole nodded a bit in reply when Lexi said that to her. "I just might" she teased her friend as they got to the door. Nicole was happy that Lexi had met a guy, even if she was having trouble in getting him to notice how much she liked him.

Danny watched the two women with a slight smile on his face. Lexi was a nice enough woman, from what he knew so far and she deserved to have her prince charming. Maybe he couldn't help her with that, but he could at least support her and hope she would get the man she wanted to see her the way she wanted him to see her.

He let them to the club they wanted to go and held the door for them, after he actually entered the club first. True to his gentleman inside.

"Thanks Danny" Nicole said to him as she walked into the club with Lexi. Once inside, Nicole looked around at the place and smiled a little, taking in the club's atmosphere as she stood there.

Lexi smiled a little. She loved how Danny and Nicole were interacting with each other, at the same time she really liked his kind of old-fashioned behavior, the way he treated women. It had something noble about him, something that Lexi had found hard to find these days. He seemed like a really decent guy. And she knew that he was just the type of man her friend and boss deserved. She was happy for Nicole.

Walking past Daniel into the club, right after Nicole, she gave the handsome man a sweet smile. "Thank you very much." she said to him and then stood next to Nicole, looking around the place. It wasn't too crowded yet, but there were people already dancing and having fun. The vibe was really great. This was going to be so much fun!
