Coffee Break || Anyone

After hours of glaring through a microscope Daniel decided to take a break. It's been a long shift already and even longer to become without the hot drink.

There was nobody yet in the Break Room so he started singing a song that suddenly popped in his head while searching cupboards for his stash.

A few seconds later, Patrick walked in, hearing Daniel sing to himself at the same time. "Must be a good song" he said to Daniel as he stood near the door.

Daniel jumped slightly and his cheeks immediately turned pink-ish. "Meh. Just something I heard on radio stuck in my head." he said with a sheepish smile.

Patrick nodded in reply, "I see" he said before walking over to the counter and getting one of the tea bags out of the basket.

"So, what's up?" he asked Patrick, pouring himself freshly brewed coffee

"Nothing much at the moment" Patrick said in reply as he filled one of the mugs and placed it in the microwave.

Daniel chuckled. "Come on, this is a crime lab and you tell me nothing's up? And I nearly believed you." he joked, sipping his coffee

Patrick smiled a bit as he looked over. "Well, I did just wrap a case." he replied

"Interesting one?" Daniel took another sip of the hot, brown liquid, his eyebrow quirked up.

Patrick nodded a bit, "It was interesting and challenging at the same time." he said in reply as the microwave finished. Patrick removed the mug, then placed the tea bag in the hot water.

"Oh come on man, please spill. I've gotten quite rusty day here and my mind even managed to turn into glue while staring through scope." Daniel knew he sounded like a bored five-year old but couldn't help that. He was bored, and needed something to pull his slowed down mind back on track.

Patrick looked over when Daniel said that to him. "Well, since you asked.....it involved two Greek houses at UNLV and a rather bazaar hazing incident."

"Wow. Sounds like interesting case. How many fatalities?" this case started to rise Daniel's curiousity

"Two" Patrick replied as he walked over to the table and sat down. "Thankfully it stayed at that number." he added before taking a sip.

"I'm sure you guys would pretty minded more than that." Daniel chuckled and then sipped his slowly cooling coffee.
"Anything fun happened?" he asked. Sometimes some things just happened leaving CSIs in various embarrassing and less embarrassing situations.
Yet Dan hadn't gotten so far. Still stucked in lab, bit more to go till field trips

Patrick looked at Dan when he said that. "Well, when we were processing the house, Eric and I found another sorority girl and her boyfriend passed out in a basement closet." he said off the cuff.

Dan's eyes sparkled a bit. "That's interesting. Bet they had been doing something kinky." he said almost laughing.

Patrick let himself smile a bit, "Well, we did find them sans clothes." he said to Daniel in reply.

"Wow, that's a twist." mock surprise played on Dan's features for a moment before curious side returned. "Strip poker, I'm guessing. And extra activities afterwards."

Patrick nodded in reply, "You can say that" he said to Danny, a slight smirk on his face at the same time.

"Not quite a surprise. Been caught up in situations myself." he stopped before next line. "Well, allegedly." Dan mumbled, hiding behind his coffee with a smirk. Some things were bit embarrassing to remember.

Patrick looked at Daniel when he said that, "Oh?" he asked, setting his mug down at the same time.

"Well, it was NYC back then. And I was drunk." Dan said. He sipped his coffee again.

Patrick nodded a bit in reply, "I see" he said to him

Hannah just got herself a new field trip on one case her supervisor has gives her. She feels tired and wanted to let her head lie down to the table in break room. She walks inside and yawns as she walks and then she meet two men inside and having conversation. "Hiya... What are you two doing here? Having a cup of coffee and resting?" she asks.
